Peñalver (1937-1995), the quintessential 20th Century American Surrealistic Artist of his generation, was a prolific painter before his paralysis in 1979. The ensuing years were challenging as he depicted his transition from walking to wheels in hundreds of paintings. Bright Moments (1988); a colorful, dramatic homage to the Masters, inspired by the flowers of Alexa's garden so simply arranged.
