Description
Peñalver (1937-1995), the quintessential 20th Century American Surrealistic Artist of his generation, was a prolific painter before his paralysis in 1979. The ensuing years were challenging as he depicted his transition from walking to wheels in hundreds of paintings. Charge (1983); highlights Ricardo's acceptance of being one with his chair and his surrealistic view of his body with wheels as his bones.
