The ensuing years were challenging as he depicted his transition from walking to wheels in hundreds of paintings. Day Dreaming of Matisse and His Days in Nice (1987); Ricardo was studying the Master Matisse and was inspired to paint this magnificent work of art from an arrangement Alexa designed for him and put in his studio.
