Peñalver (1937-1995), the quintessential 20th Century American Surrealistic Artist of his generation, was a prolific painter before his paralysis in 1979. The ensuing years were challenging as he depicted his transition from walking to wheels in hundreds of paintings.
Prancing Rooster (c.1983) Ricardo was very fond of Roosters. This one is especially playful as he appears to be prancing.
