Peñalver (1937-1995), the quintessential 20th Century American Surrealistic Artist of his generation, was a prolific painter before his paralysis in 1979. The ensuing years were challenging as he depicted his transition from walking to wheels in hundreds of paintings.
Tú (1988); is a painting of his favorite model, Alexa. Another fabulous work of art from his renaissance period of once again painting large works of art.
