Peñalver (1937-1995), the quintessential 20th Century American Surrealistic Artist of his generation, was a prolific painter before his paralysis in 1979. The ensuing years were challenging as he depicted his transition from walking to wheels in hundreds of paintings. Flourishing (1988); was painted during the joyous renaissance period in Ricardo's life. He always loved to dance and and share his knowledge with Alexa!
